Foxglove painting

Its very good Purple. Love the movement in it. I often use Clingfilm for backgrounds and am just getting the hang of salt. Do you use candle wax?

We had some like that at the front of our house (don't know where they came from) but they didn't last long.
A painting like yours keeps them going forever.

It’s so beautiful, the way the foxgloves stand proud at the front of the picture, and you just know the stems are moving in a breeze.
The smudged sky suggests a breeze is blowing the clouds also as their edges are undefined. I love it Purple,
you should be very proud of it,

I also use cling film for the background at times, but this is rock salt.

Oh, I'd forgotten that! It's quite a while since I did any painting, in fact I was just looking at my books and wondering whether to give them away or try again.

I dropped some of the colours in as well as using salt on the back ground.
