Is invisible mending done nowadays? You used to be able to have that done by dry cleaning companies. I feel neither of your suggestions would look good unless the silk is a heavy stiff silk.
Hi, does anyone have any advice on repairing a small hole in a silk velvet top? My first thoughts are iron on interfacing but also thought about fabric glue tha stops fraying. Any ideas? TIA
