Only two ?projects to finish now - after that I shall have to find another excuse for largely ignoring housework - until the annual pre-Christmas blitz, that is.

And here’s the poor cannibalised fatty whose arms I lopped off, to save me making yet another 2.

Unusual, yes, and probably much in demand.

Nannagarra

My fellow knitters were very interested when I described your snowmen and wreath. Chief knitter also felt faces are very challenging, that her attention would be focused on this feature rather than a tum.
Worry eaters are amazing on so many levels. Some of my friends make them.
Anxiosauraus - brilliant!

Unlike most, Jean Greenhowe’s instructions tell you exactly where to place the eyes etc., and exactly how to do them.

Yes, I’m looking forward to the Anxiosaurus - ?the pattern may be in the next newsletter. I have lots of suitable green yarn to use up!

Thank you for the guidance: I’ll revisit the Jean Greenhowe patterns I have.
Do post a pic of the Anxiosaurus, either from the newsletter or when completed.

Witzend I dont always follow JG's instructions when constructing the face, but sometimes I end up with cross eyed angels/snowmen - well its different!

Actually Mr Red and Purple hat wasn’t far behind when the pies were given out?
It really is lovely, well done.

Absolutely gorgeous ?

I have to follow them Billybob4491, or there’d be a long saga of eyes, nose, etc. looking all wrong (mad or miserable looking snowmen etc.) with me uttering foul curses and undoing them, over and over….
However I’ve made so many snowmen, I’ve more or less got their faces sussed by now.
Ditto the Nativity figures. When I made the first lot (following JG’s instructions exactly) I was astonished that they looked right first time!

I love it, Witzend. My favourite is the one with the yellow scarf, but they're all so gorgeous!!
