Has anyone like me got into ther 60s and i cant seem to be enthusiastic about my crafting, i have done all sorts over the years from card making patchwork crotchet etc, i think the problems started when i was left with so many items that no one wanted, and it started to get quite expensive so ive more or less stopped doing any, ill bake an odd birthday cake if asked 😊

Granniedot is there a mixed media craft group you could join. When I moved here it was I wanted to do as where I lived there was nowhere apart from knitting groups.

I joined in August 2019 a week after moving and have made real friends and we all help eachother in anyway we can. It's not just about crafting but the social side. Sometimes I can't cross stitch for long if my hands playing up so just chat . It's 2 hours Thursday afternoon at the local library it's free. We have room with a kitchen and loo. We supply tea etc if any of us notices something is low we just buy in and put into our box with lid . I bake every 2 weeks to take and others but biscuits to bring each week. Whichever craft you enjoy you take. I am a one trick pony and only do cross stitch. But if you want to learn to do something or unsure about a pattern others are willing to teach you. In another life none of us would me but we just clicked. Our age range is late 20's mid 80's. We have our own closed what's app group so keep in touch every day as we do like to chat. To us there is no such thing as to much crafting.

It's something I look forward to every week like my Monday sit fit class .

The pictures are just a couple of eg's if what I do. If anyone is interested in cross stitch have a look at the thread.
