Any 🎄 crafts started, and if so, what are you making?

I've just completed a small rug (Readicut wool shop) - started in the early 1970s as a bedside mat. It surfaced when we had to clear the understairs cupboard to give the electrician and plumber access to the meters. It's a yellow and green plaid pattern and it's now in front of the hearth in the front room, a perfect match for the green carpet and yellow walls. I'm very proud of it!

I am currently making Christmas gnomes. So far a Santa Gnome, Snow Gnome and a Christmas Tree Gnome,

I’m part way through making a door hanging of the Nutcracker Prince. Also doing some water colour cards and preparing a couple of crafts for craft club.

Made these for my grandsons bedrooms. The oldest said mommy said we have enough on the tree. But I do like these mice. They where a free kit with world of crossing magazine to make labels. So I brought some snowy Aida and backed it with iron on interfacing and blue felt to make the banners.

At the moment, I'm making tree and card ornaments on 14ct plastic canvas. I can't hold it/stitch in hand, so I pin this to my hoop which is on a lapstand. It's much easier this way!
I'm also stitching on pre-holed cards and on aida.
Here's one I've almost finished. I want to fill in around it, probably with half cross stitches, so it looks better.
I made a pendibule, too.

That’s the first Halloween one I’ve seen or heard of, Whiff!

I did fancy making a 🎄one for Gdcs’ road, but couldn’t find a pattern I felt I could cope with, i.e. no crochet (can’t do it) and the base not knitted in the round, though I can manage DPN fine if used like a pair.

I'm not particularly crafty, but I make lots of pots full of limbs, cones, twigs and greenery - trimmings and raked items from around the gardens and grounds. Paint, bits of this and that in huge pots.

I paint with oils - pictures from travels and of GC, do watercolour onto old etchings. A framed piece for everyone we know - gifts for Christmas. (No doubt a burden for everyone we know)

At Christmas I used to wire together greenery from the garden, holly, ivy, fir, etc and hang the sprays upside down in the corners of the room but haven't done that for a while.

Home-sewn bunting is cleaner and doesn't shed bits!
Although I will bring some holly in for vases, it has plenty of berries this year.

My sister in law had a stall at a Halloween market. They only made £12. But none of the stalls did well. They are doing a Christmas one in a different place.

But I wanted you to see all their hard work.

Witzend I have never seen a pattern for any of the toppers the woman makes. Think she must make up her own patterns .

Whiff, your SIL's stall would have made a fortune if I had been there .

I just finished my Balthazar (with the white beard) - I think he looks rather more regal than the other two.
Shepherds and Joseph done, so only Mary, baby, manger, 2 sheep and a donkey to go!
