Have you been to Lils lately Gramps snow white is the new barmaid I have heard that a few of the 'clientele' have been remarking on the size of her buns....

Pete Sun 24-Jun-12 12:54:59

Think Lil sacked her, nellie.....seems her buns were proving too popular and a lot of the 'gentlemen' were getting sticky fingers..... grin

soop Sun 24-Jun-12 14:01:25

Could not resist popping in for my daily giggle fix grin nellie gramps Pete I just love your cheery banter. Back to paint Pepper. Take care of each other wink

nelliedeane Sun 24-Jun-12 14:05:26

She kept saying she had a bun in the oven, whenever they asked....grin

gramps Sun 24-Jun-12 23:22:30

Snow White a common barmaid - never!
She is most likely in a posh Bistro somewhere in Essex or Middlesex. She considered herself above those with whom she lived. The Dwarfs cared for her, as we all know, but are now considering taking advice on discrimination of size as the smaller folk could not reach her delightfully sticky , world famous currant buns.
They are only surpassed by her fantastic waffles. One of which I'm just finishing off!
She attended classes for pancake making, but they were a flop!

Pete, beware of her coffee - it comes out all frothy!

Pete Mon 25-Jun-12 00:15:23

gramps No need for the Dwarfs to take advice....I witnessed Happy getting a good hand full of current buns.....although Dopey put him up to it...(on his shoulders)...grin l

gramps Mon 25-Jun-12 09:20:02

Ohj dear, I never trust small people with sticky fingers!
I hope he turned off the current, or he may have a shocking experience!!

soop Mon 25-Jun-12 13:48:06

Gramps and Pete would I be correct in thinking that naughty nellie has corrupted you? You are both such fun...just what nell needs...grin

soop Tue 26-Jun-12 12:36:24

Naughty nellie WHERE ARE YOU? I'm getting nellie withdrawel symptoms. grin

jeni Tue 26-Jun-12 13:47:21

They're getting almost as bad as us!

soop Tue 26-Jun-12 14:08:24

...I meant - withdrawal symtoms.hmm

Pete Tue 26-Jun-12 14:28:36

soop I think gramps was corrupted a good while ago smile ....I, on the other hand, am pure in mind and body.....although another visit to nellie's younger sisters ( Lilly's ) back room may change that... grin

soop Tue 26-Jun-12 14:30:57

Pete...you rascal! Please find naughty nellie for me. I'm beginning to fret that she may be locked in the shed. grin

Pete Tue 26-Jun-12 15:16:20

soop ....tried the shed...no sign. There was a Fancy Dress party in the village hall on Sunday night...people dressed as Soldiers, Sailors, RSPCA men and even Tennis players...... you don't think nellie's head has been turned do you... grin

jeni Tue 26-Jun-12 15:44:17

Very likely I should think!

nelliedeane Tue 26-Jun-12 17:43:45

I am not lost but have been called away to a family emergency,am backwards and forwards to Essex at the moment as my son is in hospital after being badly bitten by two fighting staffs ( his own ) and now awaits micro surgery today to repair his hand and arm, unfortunately Kerry has been in hospital as she is I'll with her CF,we are in the midst of getting E cared for ,and our dog and other related problems....believe I wish I was locked in the shed at the moment preferably with a large bottle of wine ...will try and keep in touch but am likely to be harassed for the next week or so we are having the debate at the moment about the dogs being destroyed..... Unfortunately not my decision..it would be yes but other parties are getting involved in laws......ggggrrrrhhhh....love you all take carexxxxxxxxx

jeni Tue 26-Jun-12 17:50:40

Best wishes to you Nellie. We're here if you want us.

Annobel Tue 26-Jun-12 17:59:38

So sorry to hear about your son's mishap and your involvement, having to rush hither and thither. You can't call your life your own at the moment. I hope you reach a solution about the dogs. Surely he could never trust them again. Will be thinking of you. ((((hugs))))

nightowl Tue 26-Jun-12 18:10:31

The decision about the dogs must be his, but as a dog lover I would not see this as a reason to have them put to sleep. When dogs are fighting they will bite anyone who gets in the way - I'm sure they would not normally have bitten him or any person. I have scars from separating fighting terriers but the dogs were certainly not vicious or dangerous to humans. Unfortunately with staffies they are so powerful that they can inflict a lot of damage without meaning to. It would certainly be an argument for separating them permanently, if another family member is willing to take one of them. It would also be an argument for keeping them muzzled when taken out.

Whatever the decision about the dogs, I do hope your son will be ok and I hope you are looking after yourself nellie; it's such a worry for us when our children of any age are hurt. ((hugs)) to all of you

Anagram Tue 26-Jun-12 18:28:51

Oh, nellie, so sorry to hear of your present troubles. I'm sure you'll cope admirably, as always, but it seems that it never rains but it pours for you. flowers

Ella46 Tue 26-Jun-12 18:36:55

Poor nellie you do seem to be getting more than your fair share of difficult (to say the least!) times.
I hope your son isn't too badly hurt, and things start to look up soon for you.
Take care of yourself too, love and (((hugs))) and a large wine is waiting in the shed!

Pete Tue 26-Jun-12 23:50:47

Is any one looking after the shed....its now full of wine.. grin

gramps Tue 26-Jun-12 23:56:25

Oh dear Nell, so sorry to hear of all your troubles. We all are thinking love and good wishes for you. ete and I (me) will try to keep Lilin hand, if you know what I mean - She don't arf squirm too! (trying to get into those too tight jeans. Or maybe ,genes!!)
Take care now. xx

soop Wed 27-Jun-12 13:07:25

Dear nellie ...I've been worried about you. I'm so sorry that this has happened. You are in all our thoughts. I may not be able to leave another message until I return from London. Take good care of yourself. (((hugs)))

jeni Wed 27-Jun-12 14:12:05

So who is in charge of Pete and gramps while Nellie is away?
You can't trust them on their own. Particularly when a shed fil of wine is involved!
( sighs) suppose we'll have to set up a rota to sit with them and drinkmake sure they don't drink all the winegrin
