Ahem.....is it me or is it getting a bit warm in here. Moving on... Just thought I would let you all know that I have been converted. It happened at 8am this morning - in the high street. The rain was coming down in sheets and in the distance through the mist a very wet, bedraggled granny wearing a white shell suit came running up with a beaming smile... yes folks it was her time to shine carrying the Olympic torch!! I was quite moved ...by the crowd who gave the lady such a welcome in the pouring rain - quite deafening it was. Lets hope that the rain will have run out by the time the games start....I'm quite in the mood now.....anyone up for a jog, its just stopped.

Now I feel all guilty,as I am dossing about today and doing nothing more energetic than lifting my tea cup

Nine, the flame is coming this way at the weekend. Unfortunately it seems to be going through Stockport at the crack of dawn! It did the same thing at Macclesfield (I live between the two towns) on its way to Merseyside a few weeks ago.

Nine Kintyre missed out when torch came to west coast of Scotland. Such a shame. Mull of Kintyre would have made a great tune to accompany it along the peninsula.

nellie All this rain has left the stream, by the old mill, flooded! I couldn't get across to the pub last night (not with gramps on my back) So I think "Loose Lips Lilly" has been having you on.......She does pull a good pint mind and her food is not bad, does amazing things with pork sausages....

I have been in the rhubarb trying to find out where the mysterious rustling was coming from,and that's when I saw the gnomes all getting ready to go out,there was much banter and kit inspection they where on a mission to gate crash your party grumpy was the ring leader they had sourced a dustpan with the brush joined to the handle and hi jacked it grumpy sat aside the brush and the 6others sat in the dustpan and they flew off in to the night....I thought there was a strong resemblance between grumpy and Jeremy clarkson,dopey looked very much like RIchard Hammond, and sleepy likes James May.....like I said I was feeling happy because I had discovered their plan.....

I feel really sorry for Snow-white. Poor kid, She was upset and feeling Grumpy at the time - then having been scolded, left the party feeling Dopey. This cheered her up, and off she went feeling Happy!
Next morning, she got a cold,so had to stay home feeling Sneazy!
Last saw her off to see Doc!

I don't think she is a "goodtime" girl, as she's always late!!

Preferably both. I love her currant buns!
