I used to live in Brentwood and would not vote for him, whatever his looks or party, because he is a Yorkshireman and I believe that a local MP should be a local person.

The MP in Colchester, where I live now, is local born and bred. Several of those who stood against Eric Pickles in Brentwood were local too.

Thinking about the dream - your brain obviously registered the fact that Russian women love Eric Pickles and Vladimir Putin has been pictured stripped to the waist (in a river fishing I think, not on a horse). A mixed-up dream!

I had a lovely dream where I visited Prunella Scales and Timothy West for tea. Their house was very old and very homely (in my dream) and all their grandchildren were there. Then it all went a bit strange, as I walked up steps from their bathroom and was in Marble Arch.
