It’s in the grain naturally and can end up in any product made with any grain. Pasta can also come alive I never buy big bags of flour or pasta even though it’s cheaper I stick to small bags/packets.
I worked in a bakery years ago people would be very surprised if they knew what was baked into products. The matter of fact attitude was as its baked it will be not problem for consumers.

I threw it away, along with all the other open (and clipped) bags and disinfected the shelf.
