a 10 day visit

Yesterday morning I got some wonderful news when my son showed me their air tickets for a visit in Sept to join us at my mother's 100th birthday. They have always wanted to come but it was the financial side that stopped them, now his wife has now gone back to work so the three of them can afford the journey but it will only be for 10 days.
I did see my son last year but have not seen my granddaughter and my daughter-inlaw since 2014 when they came for my husband's funeral.
It certainly gave me some adrenoline as I managed to clean the whole patio yesterday!

Have a great visit Cath 9, mine are coming from oz in Aug and I keep thinking of jobs to do before they arrive and it gives me such a lift x

Wonderful news - you must be over the moon! Mine is coming for Christmas from NZ - for 6 weeks - I keep thinking of all the jobs and practicalities of them staying here with 4 and 2 year olds in the middle of winter shock
