I behaved like that at that age. I don't think I am on the autistic spectrum and I grew out of it.
Just meet the challenge calmly and reasonably. I just needed to bounce of someone and always chose those who loved me enough to put up with it. It was a reaction to the strictures of required classroom behaviour.
If you need to escape, just try giving him a hug and saying that you love him. He will probably run a mile but be greatly comforted.
I know I is difficult but I would avoid any referral to 'experts'. I tried it once with foster daughter and was told that I just wasn't the right parent for her! As I was the only mother in sight I just battled on and now have a wonderful daughter, loyal, caring and responsible and in touch most days, one of the few fostered children who has been to university (after repeating GCSEs & 3 goes at A levels!).
Don't give up. Things will settle and are darkest before dawn.
