I'm in a 'bottomless pit' mode today - just can't eat enough!

So far I've had:

2 fried eggs, tomatoes, avocado, 2 coffees
Sea bass fillets, red cabbage & salad, 2 glasses of wine
3 slices of bacon, brown sauce, on a buttered brioche bun
1 mini Magnum

I'm still hungry!

Yesterday, a not very healthy day!
Cup of tea and ginger biscuit. Coffee mid-morning.
Sandwich with sardine and tomato spread, half a tin of French onion soup.
Handful of crisps, two Ryvitas.
Glass of ginger wine.
Burger and fries. Nearly half a bottle of red wine.
Hot chocolate, half a bar of Fry's Chocolate Cream.
Will try harder today!

It's actually quite educational for me, to see how little many of you eat, compared with my previous piggish ways. I'm having tummy problems and have had to cut right back, so will try not to ever revert back.

I’m not sure why this thread is so interesting, but it is!

So true Maggie - it's rather perverse! grin

A big portion of spinach, two poached eggs & chopped anchovies, coffee. I'm intending to have a 'good' day hmm

Beechnut Wed 28-Nov-18 08:05:44

Porridge, yogurt and two cups of tea.

DanniRae Wed 28-Nov-18 07:53:02

Toast and mug of tea (so far)

Maggiemaybe Wed 28-Nov-18 07:50:09

I’m not sure why this thread is so interesting, but it is!

Yesterday I had porridge with grapes, a prawn salad sandwich on a wholemeal bap, a cheese string and a bag of salt and vinegar crisps mid-afternoon to keep the DGS company, and for tea a samosa and a vegetable and lentil curry with chapattis. A couple of plums and more grapes in and amongst.

Oh, and a pint of bitter at the theatre, because I’m classy like that.

I am sure this thread could run and run!!!We all need to eat.

DoraMarr Tue 27-Nov-18 18:15:04

An orange, a persimmon and some Greek yogurt and local honey for breakfast, and two cups of tea. I didn’t feel like lunch before my hospital appointment, so I just had a crumpet and an apple, and a glass of milk. I was really hungry when I got home, so I had an early dinner of lovely garlicky, tomatoey beef casserole with two slices of garlic bread, and a large glass of red wine, so I’m feeling quite mellow! Might have some celebratory chocolates later while I watch “My Brilliant Friend” on catchup.

MissAdventure Tue 27-Nov-18 17:44:57

I'm about to have a chicken kebab with garlic sauce, with chips and salad. Lovely!

Grannyknot Tue 27-Nov-18 17:38:49

This is quite a nice way of keeping a food diary smile

On waking - a piece of toast and a cup of tea

Nothing for the rest of the morning, so...

A Steak and Cheese slice from Greggs on the run, yum! (I have a total weakness for them).

Cup of tea x2

Tonight's dinner is:

Grilled steak, boiled potatoes, green beans, carrots.
and ...
an offer of Sticky Toffee Pudding.

glammagran Tue 27-Nov-18 17:31:57

At 4pm we had high tea whilst we are staying at hotel in the Cotswolds for DH’s birthday. 8 sandwiches, 4 scones with clotted cream and jam and 4 slices of cake. We ate all the sandwiches, 1 scone each and 1 piece of cake each and left the rest. Otherwise I’ll never eat dinner at 7:30.

Lynne59 Tue 27-Nov-18 15:42:11

Fresh orange juice, tea, 2 slices wholemeal toast, scrambled egg

porridge, tea, chocolate chip cookie

That's it, until later when I'll have a chicken stir-fry with noodles
