I'm in a 'bottomless pit' mode today - just can't eat enough!

So far I've had:

2 fried eggs, tomatoes, avocado, 2 coffees
Sea bass fillets, red cabbage & salad, 2 glasses of wine
3 slices of bacon, brown sauce, on a buttered brioche bun
1 mini Magnum

I'm still hungry!

I eat whatever, whenever, no good or bad food. I have never dieted but very active. I often don't eat until 12 noon & i didn't realise ,until a couple of days ago (on gransnet) that it's a thing, going 16 hrs between evening meat & breakfast.

That's quite a good day for me, GabriellaG .. at least I had plenty of veg in the stir fry .. Today I've had usual toast n marmalade n coffee mid-morning, Belgian bun and cup of tea early afternoon, large packet of Haribo-type sweets when collecting the GCs (I don't often eat sweets) and more tea n biscuits just before 6pm. Will try to do better tomorrow, honest!

Urmstongran Mon 26-Nov-18 19:01:01

DoraMarr. .. what are the 2 eggs ‘that go off at midnight’? Are you on egg watch with a searchlight?

TerriBull Mon 26-Nov-18 16:40:59

2 coffees, Porridge with sliced banana
1 small apple, sandwich on wholemeal, consisting of ham, rocket, cucumber, red onion, another banana, cup of tea.
I've made a fish pie for supper, consisting of small piece of cod, small piece of smoked haddock, small piece of salmon, florets of broccoli all covered with a cheese and chive sauce, I prefer sliced potatoes to mash for the topping like Dauphinoise . So half of that and I hope that's me done for the day.

oldbatty Mon 26-Nov-18 16:37:45

What is you desire cake 24/7?

Catterygirl Mon 26-Nov-18 16:35:04

Since I decided to stop dieting about 20 years ago, I have no appetite as nothing is forbidden. Blame Paul McKenna who has a stop dieting tape. I eat anything I fancy and maintain the same weight, over Christmas and holidays, simply because nothing is forbidden so nothing becomes really desirable. It may all be in the mind.

ninathenana Mon 26-Nov-18 16:01:01

Interesting reading. I see several of you eat cake, biscuits, chocolate, ice cream etc. plus one or more glasses of wine.
I have none of this but am still plus size.
You lucky people smile

sodapop Mon 26-Nov-18 15:59:05

glammagran Mon 26-Nov-18 15:42:27

Shame The Pineapple has closed. Seems to be the fate of a great many pubs now. Remembered it instantly as soon as I saw photos. I have been in there.

Maggiemaybe Mon 26-Nov-18 13:41:22

5:2 fast day for me today. So far I've had half a slice of wholemeal toast with butter, 3 plums, and an edamame and petit pois salad. Later I'll have my share of the lentil and hidden veg sauce DD2 has made for tea for us and her boys, but only six or so of the pasta penne that go with it. Roll on tomorrow. smile

EllanVannin Mon 26-Nov-18 12:33:41
