A lovely gin and bitter lemon . I picked up the latter by chance the other day and just love it with gin . Took me a long time to discover this .

Just finishing my second glass it was lovely chilled. Mummy, daddy of 2y old are on their way back up now by a taxi with their 7y old who went with them for a ‘big boy’ meal on the marina out here.

One shattered grandma off to bed very soon!

Nice cup of tea. Gave up ALL alcohol almost fifty years ago and never looked back.

Our nerves are shot due to a difficult sad time ( see Argy thread for details ) made worse by NO WHITE WINE left ! Magoo and I are on the Scotch now

I have just opened a bottle of Baileys. Christmas present. I now know why I didn't open it before. Terribly sickly and clacky.

Just had turmeric,lemongrass and ginger tea. Quite palatable but not my favourite. Ladies

We've had two young GC today. They have gone and I am drinking brandy. Back on duty tomorrow! I think I am now too old for a 4 year old boy.

2nd glass of Sainsbury's Pinot Grigio Blush. Been a frustrating day.
