I've been up since 05.00 and now rather peckish, to say the least!

I have a full fridge so just pondering ...

Just had Mexican eggs (eggs, avocado, sour cream and refried beans on a toasted tortilla) with family & friends at a local eaterie. Not my usual but a yummy treat. Back to the healthy eating tomorrow.

A very late ‘breakfast’ for us; early junior football match and then when we got in I fancied a bacon lettuce and tomato pannini (sp?). With a liberal helping of good mayonnaise there are few things more tasty and satisfying! ?

Simply nutty muesli with a spoonful of flaxseed and a few sultanas.

Muesli and yogurt, with raspberries from garden .... of course ;)

Normally two slices of toast with butter and a banana or marmalade if I fancy that. Yesterday I had lovely food all day so I am not at all hungry- long may that last.

2 cups of tea before I get up-tea making machine by bed!
Then toast & marmite & a frothy coffee when I'm up.
I'm a creature of habit.
Porridge & Boiled egg & toast when DGC staying though.

Breakfast, unless I am abroad where ever, is toast drenched in butter and honey and a bottomless pot of tea while watching Breakfast TV.

1 weetabix . Breaking the daily porridge and frozen cherries with cinnamon and a sprinkle of mixed seeds. I’ve been having that for months as I love those frozen cherries so much and can’t get enough... they go perfectly like that.

Full fat Greek yogurt and blueberries and green tea for breakfast, but just spoilt the healthy eating by having last night's leftover kebab for lunch!

A slice of Gouda cheese, a slice of ham, 3 baby tomatoes and a handful of red grapes. A bottle of Actimel and a cup of coffee. Not my usual breakfast, I prefer toast and marmite, but we were out of bread so used up the odds and sods in the fridge before heading to Tesco for a big shop.

Mashed avocado with flax seed, chilli and turmeric with scrambled eggs, all on top of sourdough!

Nothing! I stopped eating breakfast a few years ago - never really enjoyed eating early. Then I discovered it’s called the 16/8 diet. Means less guilt eating later in the day!

Tris68 Sun 22-Sept-19 11:31:29

Forgot my 2 to 3 mugs of strong filter coffee ☕

Tris68 Sun 22-Sept-19 11:30:21

2 plums (had to chuck one as tasteless) nectarine, banana, 2 choc covered rice cake bars from Aldi & a snack size portion of mixed nuts. My usual breakfast along with a side order of tramadol (ra & fibro) & a load of supplements ?

Sunday is our unhealthy breakfast day. Four slices of unsmoked streaky bacon cooked to a crisp, black pudding and a potato scone on a fresh scotch roll with ketchup.
Made even more delicious because it is an occasional treat.

inishowen Sun 22-Sept-19 11:23:21

Rustic brown bread toasted with butter and jam.

allule Sun 22-Sept-19 11:14:23

I have a half and half breakfast. A mix of orange and grapefruit juice; a mix of Allbran and apricot wheats; half a slice of toast with marmite, and half with marmalade.
Think this is an example of my problems with making decisions!

Hetty58 Sun 22-Sept-19 11:10:53

Cooking second sitting of breakfast now. Banana pancakes (just eggs and bananas) for the kids.

21Tinkerbell Sun 22-Sept-19 11:10:40

How I would love a bacon sandwich.
Had porridge with blueberries and 2 mugs of tea.

Tinker18 Sun 22-Sept-19 11:02:43

I can't believe that I'm the only one who had a bacon sandwich (Sunday treat)!

polnan Sun 22-Sept-19 10:53:34

geekesse Sun 22-Sept-19 10:29:02

The two croissants I took out of the fridge last night are just waiting for the oven to warm up.

Davida1968 Sun 22-Sept-19 10:22:37

Porridge (with no sugar, honey, or the like) made with semi skimmed milk. A few blueberries, mixed seeds, and a couple of chopped prunes. Topped with some (home-made) kefir. Plus a small glass of (unsweetened) orange juice, and (de-caff) coffee.

merlotgran Sun 22-Sept-19 10:21:44

henetha Sun 22-Sept-19 10:20:49
