Betrayed!

When I come home from work on the bus, I sometimes pass by a handmade, but quite professional looking notice, pinned to the bus stop pole

The heading is 'Betrayed!' and then there is quite a lengthy couple of paragraphs below.

Now, if you were me, would you be interested enough to get off the bus to read it?

It could be up to about 20 minutes until the next bus.

I'd HAVE to. I'd be pretty p***ed of if it wasn't a really JUICY read though

MissAdventure Wed 01-Jan-20 21:29:43

Yes, I think I'm going to have to.
I've found myself worrying that it'll be gone after the holiday and i'll never find out the story.

Scribbles Wed 01-Jan-20 21:32:38

Presumably, it's intended for those getting on or off a bus at that stop? Or for pedestrians passing on foot. I very much doubt that I'd get off the bus to read it.

If u are on Facebook, you may find something about this on your area group

MissAdventure Wed 01-Jan-20 21:36:07

I think its meant for anyone.

I also think I can see part of it that is in the same style as a major charity, so I'm not sure if that's coincidental, or somehow connected.

MissAdventure Wed 01-Jan-20 21:37:01

I'm not on Facebook.
Its times like these I wish I was though!

Chewbacca Wed 01-Jan-20 21:37:06

Will you post on here when you've read it MissA? Please? Wonder what it could be? A betrayed lover? Friends? Business deal? hmm

threexnanny Wed 01-Jan-20 21:37:17

Alternatively you could look out for someone who gets on at that stop then sit next to them and ask. If they've had to wait up to 20 mins for the bus they would be sure to have read it.

MissAdventure Wed 01-Jan-20 21:39:22

I'm not back at work until the 6th, and i'll not be passing that stop until later that week, probably.

lemongrove Wed 01-Jan-20 21:42:21

Don’t bother MissA....it will be political! Stay on the bus.?

Urmstongran Wed 01-Jan-20 21:43:00

Great idea threexnanny!

Urmstongran Wed 01-Jan-20 21:43:52

Ha! You’re probably right lemon!

MissAdventure Wed 01-Jan-20 21:44:45

Oh I hadn't thought of that, lemon.
I'd be really cross if its a brexit rant!

Juliet27 Wed 01-Jan-20 21:45:30

Perhaps it’s to do with politics. I’d stay on the bus!!

Juliet27 Wed 01-Jan-20 21:46:33

Oh snap lemongrove. I hadn’t renewed the page

Namsnanny Wed 01-Jan-20 21:55:46

Are you able to take a photo from inside of the bus MissAdventure?

I agree with lemongrove and Juliet, some political nut ranting on!

MissAdventure Wed 01-Jan-20 21:57:13

I doubt it would be a very clear picture. Bus windows are filthy!

Chewbacca Wed 01-Jan-20 22:03:44

Or....... it could be Jeremy Corbyn who put the poster up! "BETRAYED!" By xxx thousands of voters and now I'm being hounded out of my job!"

Maybe? hmm

MissAdventure Wed 01-Jan-20 22:04:54

Its fluorescent pink.

BlueBelle Wed 01-Jan-20 22:09:19

Bet you it’s a EU statement

Chewbacca Wed 01-Jan-20 22:13:36

Don't you have to pop into town for something urgent tomorrow MissA? Something that you need quite urgently? That you need to get on/off a bus to get?

MissAdventure Wed 01-Jan-20 22:13:41

Yes, that seems likely now. sad

MissAdventure Wed 01-Jan-20 22:16:34

grin chewy
I bet the buses are still running on Sunday service.

Maggiemaybe Wed 01-Jan-20 23:12:10

Oh no, stay on the bus. If it's not about Brexit, it'll be some rant about litter, or picking up dog dirt. Maybe justified, but not worth hanging about the bus stop for 20 minutes!
