I am just 69. My 6 grandchildren are between 4 and 23

Became a Granny (not Grandma!) at 52... now approaching 63 ... GD is 10, GS1 is 5 and GS2 is 14 months and oh, how I miss them during this lockdown! ☹️

I’m 72!

I'm 54 and became a first time Nana 7 weeks ago.

I’m now 74 with 5 young grandchildren.Wish it had happened 10 years earlier but more important that my children found the right partners. So far all good. Fingers crossed.

I'm now 65 and was 56 when my first grandson was born on Mother's Day on 3rd April 2011. He's 9 yrs old today so we'll be having a birthday party via Zoom for family members far and wide to join in with.

I'm also on Mumsnet - I joined that first, about a year ago, then GN a couple of months after. Grans are mums too, right? But I do find that the issues on GN are more relatable to me generally. I'm 63.

First grandchild at 50, now 55 with 2 more grandchildren who live with me with my daughter and her partner.

I'm 67 and my first grandchild is just 8 months old . Second grandchild will be born in July . Relatively new here and enjoy the daily inputs.

Now I check in every day & would really miss it if it were to disappear.

Don’t remember when I joined, but I like the debates on here. People can and do speak their minds on such a range of topics. I like following certain posters-not in a stalking way but. Cause I enjoy their comments. My GC range from teens to under tens.

I'm 70yrs and first GC 4 months ago 2nd GC three days later and another GC expected in June. So my children all in their 30s were definitely late starters!!!

69, became a granddad aged 48

I am 69 and joined a few years ago and find some topics of interest and some not but thats fine you don't read every word of a newspaper after all. Some of the problems written about make me grateful for my daughter in law and family .

I'm 55 .. 56 in May and my beautiful granddaughter will be 8 on 'our' birthday. I also have 2 grandsons who will be 10 and 3 this year. Enjoy the discussions and company that gransnet provides

I might 72 and have been a member of GN since 2015. First GC when I was 62.

I have one grandchild who is 14 months and I have just turned 60 at the end of March. I joined Gransnet because it's nice to hear the opinions of others of a similar age. Thank you everyone!

I’m 73 can’t remember how I heard about it but on joining found out my cousin was one of the original members of staff, Geraldine Bedell. I don’t take part often but enjoy reading everyone’s comments.

I'm 58 and became a Granna at 47. Eldest grandson is 11 in June.

I've 2 other grandchildren whom are nearly 3 this August and 15 months.

I was 55 when my first granddaughter was born. I now have 5 granddaughters, 2 x 11, 8, 4 and 2. I'm now 66. My DH has 5 grandchildren aged 8, 6, 5 and 2 year old twins. We are kept very busy. I joined GN about 5 years ago.

I was 42 when I became a gran. GD is 18 this month!

I was 31 when I had my first. My son became a father at 37
And my daughter a first time mother at 40. Both were very
career focused. I am probably not the most hands on grandmother but that suits me very well!!

I am 79 and my eldest granddaughter is 23. I have 7 grandchildren altogether.

Grandma at 50, just one beautiful granddaughter whos now 4.. hoping for many more! I just pop on here every now and again. Xx
