Favourite Summer drink

I had a gin and Fevertree tonic with fresh lime juice last night.
But without the gin.
It was very refreshing.

Strawberry Daiquiri is lovely
Or a Pimms with fruit

Porn star martini is my favourite cocktail.

Blood orange martini with a slice of blood orange on the side.
Don’t know if it has a special name like Urmston ‘s. ?

Aperol Spritz. I measure of Aperol 2 measures of sparkling wine, top up with soda and a large slice of orange. Fab!
I also like a Mai Tai

It might be controversial on here but I HATE Gin and Tonic

I've never had a cocktail or a gin and tonic. Cold, crisp white wine for me.

I love G&T, but better still is a French 75.

However, in weather like this nothing beats a long cold glass of Roses Lime Cordial.

I was the only non gin drinker amongst my girlfriends so I decided to try different brands over the last three years and finally found one I like (Brockmans with cucumber slices, lots of ice and fever tree tonic)

It is the only gin that none of them like ?

Pimms - goes down like lemonade (until you stand up!)

I love a fruity cocktail so I was very pleased to discover M&S 'Peach on the Beach'. It comes in cans or a bottle. Beware though. Its such a lovely drink and slips down so easily but each small can holds a double vodka. However, the orange and cranberry juice must be part of my 5 a day. ?

Ice cold San Miguel

A white wine spritzer on a sunny day, in a pretty British pub garden, overlooking a river.

A glass of chilled Chablis on a summer’s evening, in the gardens of a French bistro whilst waiting for our dinner to be served.

Tonic water with elderflower. Refreshing. No gin!

I like a Tom Collins when I can get one.

Sangria with lots of frui.

Mostly it's soft drinks around here. We like Cawsons apple and elderflower juice.

Very, very cold Frascati, drunk outside in the evening sun.

Frascati seems to only work outside in the sunshine!

White Lady for me ( gin, Cointreau or triple sec, lemon juice, and sugar syrup).
I feel very envious watching people drinking ice cold beer in summer, but it makes me feel too hot!

Twice as Nice - I used to like gin but can't stand tonic. It makes me feel very thirsty.
I like lager when it's very hot but can only drink half a bottle and I have to let it go flat as can't drink fizzy drinks any more.
Usually summer drinks are either white wine or a nice fruit juice.

Pimms.

It's got to be mojito! G&T second!

Midori and lemonade, i could drink it by the bucket load, it only makes you drunk when you stand up

I've just had a vodka, lots of ice, lime juice cordial topped up with lemonade or 7up, so refreshing with a little kick, my favourite summer drink

Pimms. With fruit and mint its one of your five a day, so five Pimms and you're there!
