This is pants!

GN had quite a discussion on knickers, not too long ago. I recall that Sloggis were highly rated (by me alongside others). I wear the "full brief" ones, (so comfy!) but they do others which are less "full".

I buy stretch knickers, comfy as and you can get them in heaps of colours and pattern, i also have a supply of Tradie for full figure woman, also comfy as. Personally when i wear knickers i go for comfort

I usually get my high leg knickers from Asda , cotton with a deep lace top. These wash and wear well too.

I wear midis I think they’re called - usually from M&S. I don’t really like the “shorts” as they eventually feel baggy and my pants have to last me a long time. I even wear my pants when the white has gone greyish, so long as the elastic is still stretchy and the cotton fabric has wear left in them. Wouldn’t be able to go “commando” as I have slight bladder leak problem (sorry - too much information!?). Couldn’t even contemplate thongs - don’t see the point of them at all. Although I appreciate some older ladies still want to feel sexy in their choice of underwear and that’s their prerogative of course. No support where you need support with thongs, IMO! I do pay more attention to having well-fitted bras and I am measured professionally for these (again, M&S or sometimes John Lewis) ?

Haven’t bought any for ages, M&S knickers last for ages so haven’t needed to - but their high leg is my knicker of choice. Perfectly comfortable, for me, anyway.

Quizzer....Oh for the days when knickers of any style ‘slid from my hips’ when wearing them, you must be very, very slim.?

M&S sell high leg pants. I've just bought some.

Same here Kate! But unlike Maydonoz I find their sizing has gone smaller, I've got some ancient M&S size 12 that fit beautifully, while the size 14 I've bought recently are tight!

I like all encompassing cotton pants for comfort but have everything from thongs to shorts in the drawer.
I like my harvest festivals.
I agree that Sainsbury's do have a great selection of underwear, not long lasting but comfortable.

I once saw the beautiful underwear of a 70 year old lady who only had months to live.
That being said I still buy sloggi and M&S.

M&S cotton knickers for me. Waist high with a bit of lace and usually black. John Lewis often have nice ones, but they tend to be a bit more money. During lockdown I bought them on line.

Another vote for high leg too - and I also like those with no VPL - I wear mainly trousers and hate seeing knicker lines. I like a nice fabric and a comfortable fit. I never buy the packs of pants as I find they never fit so well.
Sloggi are usually good if you can get the right cut but they are pricey.

M&S full cotton briefs for me too, which I've been wearing for .any years. I find them very comfy, the only thing I've noticed is the sizes have gone bigger, for example I've always worn size 14, but in the last year or two I wear size 12, and I've not lost any weight. On the contrary I need to lose at least 5 kgs to get to my ideal weight.

I've just bought high leg knicks from M&S. Great as ever.

Nobody except the grandchildren gets the misfortune to see me in my underwear BUT I still like to have nice matching but comfortable sets, Triumph being my preference. Somebody on GN recommended HEMA which also have nice things

Same here Dannirae I like the midi ones as well. Comfort day to day is the priority, special occasions only warrant fancy pants ( not panties )

M&S sell high leg pants. I've just bought some.

I always buy midi knickers from M&S. I have plain, black cotton ones and silky, black, ones with lace around the legs. Both are really comfortable. I buy knickers for me, but would not be happy wearing big, Bridget Jones pants.

My chest comes down to my knickers these days.

Bikini knickers for me. Can't abide thongs, they're so uncomfortable, and shorts just make my legs look even shorter than they are. As I am small, big knickers come up to my chest! So bikini knickers it is.

Comfort and a smooth line under clothes - and shape wear if absolutely necessary for a special outfit.
Bridget Jones has the right idea!

I always buy mine from M and S lots of choice whatever your preference. Does anyone really still say panty or panties? Creepy.
