Thank you for the replies. Some good ideas there.

She has a kindle already that she is taking with her as well as actual books.
I like the idea of colouring and puzzle books and yes they are so her! Why didn’t I think of that ?
The bottled water is another good idea and I think I might get her a small box of chocolates from a very nice local chocolatier.

Will she have something with her music on or watch a film?

You said books are all sorted but how about a book of short funny stories she can dip and out of?

Little craft kits - there are lots on Etsy.

Two I can recommend.

Is she the sort of person who might enjoy a little colouring book and crayons?

My very pregnant daughter in law is going into hospital next week for bed rest prior to a planned C section. She will be there 10 days before the CS.
I want to give her a pack of treats to take in with her for her stay. As only DS can visit and at limited times it won’t be ideal. She is a big reader so has that sorted and took up knitting in lockdown and has projects on the go. Aware though that days are long in these places does anyone please have any ideas of what else I could give her or send with DS? I am at a bit of a loss.
