Help with something delicate please

The same happened to me with a gift of flowers from m&s to thank a friend.
I asked my friend about them as I knew she would have thanked me if they had arrived. It was a bit embarrassing though.
I got no joy from m&s so I went into the shop and a very helpful assistant sorted it for me.

Ah that’s good. Some people aren’t great with their “thanks” but am sure she appreciated them. My worst nightmare is my neighbors cat, who is old with heart problems, may die while she is away for Christmas. I’ve agreed to look after him but am dreading it too.

I'm so sorry you lost your little dog in this way sunfield that is really hard. You have my sympathy.
I don't see a problem in texting or emailing the lady to say you were concerned the flowers had not been delivered and thanking her again for her care of Lola.

Why not simply ask her if she liked the flowers when you collect the ashes? You might find that easier face to face than to phone to text her just to ask about the flowers.

I agree with nanna8 ring her to ask if she has got the flowers as any number of things might have happened to them.

I’d just ring her and ask and explain that you were worried they might have been pinched.
