I had to have a new hip replacement on 23rd of November,As I live on my own all theorganising was done by me.
My rescue pug aged 11 went to stay with the lady who runs the charity that I got her from, she phoned me on Tuesday gone to say that unfortunately Lola had died in her sleep, it wasn’t unexpected although I was very upset,as she was 11 with some health issues which the charity lady
was aware of
This week I sent from Wxxtrxxx, ( other supermarkets are available )a bouquet of flowers to thank her for caring for Lola.I had an email from the supermarket to say they have been left in a safe place i.e.the porch.
My dilemma is that she hasn’t sent a little message to say they had arrived et cetera, I don’t want to appear crass by asking her did they arrive, what can I do please? I also don’t want to appear crass by seeming to not have sent anything
I do have cause to message her shortly because she sent Lola for cremation and I need to pick up the ashes (this is not my done-thing with pets but she did it in the best of interest)
I really do want to know did they arrive because I don’t want them to been stolen off the porch although they would have to go through her garden gate first. Please can someone help me dealing with this issue in a discreet way. Thank you so much
