I've not long had breakfast but it was very meagre - a bit of granola and yoghurt. I'm quite well stocked with goodies but can't decide what to have and need some inspiration.

What are your eating plans for the day?

I made a big pot of broccoli and Stilton soup this week and there is a last bowlful waiting in the fridge for my lunch today. As for the evening meal, that remains to be seen, but my good old standby, a jacket potato looks like being on the menu plus whatever I can find in the freezer.

The usual Friday beach snack, but this week I made baguettes instead of rolls.

We've been having our main meal at 1pm since retiring.
Today we had fish and chips and salad and fresh fruit afterwards.
The fish was sea bass fillets in a light batter ,shallow fried. Oven chips.
Then a light supper - husband only has fresh fruit. And a secret bar of chocolate. I usually have toast with some kind of egg, or cheese. And some chocolate.

Quite exciting really as I haven't a clue but, unusually, the choice is amazing. With perfect timing yesterday, I hit a supermarket I seldom use and a gentleman was organising and restocking the reduced items chiller. Blimey, such reductions on many items I already use and love so scooped up the lot. My cup (and fridge) overfloweth!

Lunch with friends today - a delicious carvery at our local pub. So just a light tea of butterbean, tomato and courgette salad.

No breakfasts for me for the time being as I’m trying out an intermittent fasting 14:10 regime. With an occasional 16:8.
