Following on from the Naked Bike Ride thread, today I received an email casting call from Lost in TV for a programme called Naked Education.
They want to hear from me if I am “interested in releasing myself from the shackles of negative body image.”
Apparently participating in the programme will be a “liberating experience”

So fellow gransnetters, should I go for it?

P.S. I’m 73 and overweight.

a programme called Naked Education
Is this a follow-on from Sex Education? A surprising lockdown hit (you might catch glimpse of me fully clothed ?)

Exdancer I have never appeared or applied to appear in any TV programme. The Glasgow grans will confirm I am camera shy. I prefer taking the photos.

Callistemon 17:04:47 ?. 21:46:58. Tell us more!

To Dilly the gardener............I successfully removed a seborrheric patch on my bust with cider vinegar. Protect the surrounding skin with a moisturiser painted around the offender , then put a plaster over the crusty having wetted the centre with cider vinegar. Apply twice a day. Be patient....may take a few day....but it works !! Goodbye crusty !!

We were waiting in the car for a long time whilst they filmed a scene (more than once).
I was behind the wheel, fully clothed, looking exasperated. When I realised they were filming I plastered a happy smile on my face ?
They probably cut my starring scene!

My first thought was that you had been invited to the tv show Naked Attraction....shock

Judging by my brief attention to the program I am certain that those on it have first to apply and then be selected/invited. The motives of those appearing must contain elements of daring and exhibitionism. The aim is to arrange a date in which one person selects a possible date based purely on physical attributes. The person choosing remains clothed for the selection process at the end of which they are laid bare as well.

How much are they paying Espee? Can you live the rest of your life in luxury, if so go ahead no one will remember you with clothes on anyway. Me I don’t look in the mirror naked now.

Sorry, I'll try harder next time.
Now, what's this programme about releasing myself from the shackles of negative body image?
I might apply.

Agree with Blue Sky! Far too much of that already, and to what end? I think it's part of the general effort to lower the morals, as well as the morale, of people. Even the most unredeeming ideas seem plausible nowadays. Part of the plan by elites to keep people distracted from the real things that are going on around them. Not for me, thanks.

Farzanah

Definitely. Let people see what “normal” bodies look like, not air brushed, cosmetically altered, unrealistic and mythical perfect bodies.
But may be you are that perfect body Esspee ? in which case don’t do it and show the rest of us up!

Before Covid, I worked as an extra and enjoyed it. Hoping to get back in the saddle. I say give it a go. It pays well and I was so happy to see myself on the big screen in an acting part and to take part in a be in a Bollywood movie filmed in a London park.
