Do Amazon do bouquets?
Are they any good?

Another vote here for M & S's Alstromeira. I've sent these often & recipients are always delighted with them. I have also used "local" florists (local to the recipients, & willing to deliver) but they can be hard to find, in my experience.

I'm sure many businesses are suffering with the Post strikes. I've been waiting eleven days for my paint sample now, hope it hasn't dried up!

I've used Bloom & Wild and the recipients always say the flowers are lovely and better in a few days as per their little info leaflet...But this year have received them late and I mean up to 4 days late and they informed me it was Royal Mail not delivering...just this week my lovely D sent flowers on my Mom's BDay Anniversary last Wednesday to cheer me up and flowers only arrived Monday..my Sis 80th Bday flowers also arrived 4 days late and this made her/me very disappointed...

Bloom and wild, always happy and they last unlike others.

I'm another with poor experiences with Bloom & Wild.

I received flowers recently from my granddaughter in Ireland and they were fabulous. She simply phoned a local florist here who then delivered to me the most perfect bouquet ever.
I don't know if Amazon have this service. I've always found M&S to be quite good, for flowers or fruit.

Chardy Wed 07-Sept-22 09:28:21

M&S flowers are lovely, but I've had problems with their delivery service (whoever it is they use). Their complaints dept was brilliant though.

I've had beautiful Bloom&Wild flowers, and because currently many people have parcels left on the doorstep, they come through letterbox.

I always used to send Tesco flowers. They were good but haven't used them for a long time.

Instead of flowers, which are often disappointing, I have recently sent balloons, e.g. to congratulate GD on graduation, also sent vegan chocolates on another occasion., both of which were well received.
Bubblegum balloons

Bloom and wild are very ad hoc I sent my daughter some that were awful and didn’t improve and again my friend sent her ill friend some that she was very dissatisfied with but others find them wonderful So your not alone Fanny
Recently I couldn’t find anywhere to deliver to Southern Ireland and left it too late to do a local florist and wasn’t sure if they’d even do it with the difference in currency

FannyCornforth Wed 07-Sept-22 07:34:18

Yes, I had some lovely ones from my dad from M&S
The hand tied one with white roses and sea holly.
It was so lovely that he sent it to me twice smile

kittylester Wed 07-Sept-22 07:32:13

I use Bloom and Wild too but DD2 sent me some M&S flowers that were plentiful and lasted ages.

FannyCornforth Wed 07-Sept-22 06:06:22

I was unlucky then.
I’m going to have to give them a call.
I recently bought a large rattle snake plant from them and it’s leaves went brown. They gave me a refund straight away, no question asked.
They must have lost a lot of money because of the postal strike

vegansrock Wed 07-Sept-22 06:03:56

Bloom and Wild send by DHL here.

FannyCornforth Wed 07-Sept-22 05:50:18

I rate Bloom & Wild, but I don’t recommend sending flowers at the moment because of the postal strikes
I sent my step mother a bouquet which should have arrived on Friday
They arrived dead yesterday (Tuesday)

vegansrock Wed 07-Sept-22 05:42:35

I like Freddie’s Flowers - they get delivered by bike here.

Rosie51 Tue 06-Sept-22 23:57:12

I've always found Bloom and Wild's customer service second to none. Had cause to "complain" when Royal mail messed up the delivery, they offered a replacement by courier that unfortunately wouldn't work, so instead provided a replacement letterbox delivery with an 'extra gift' and a credit. Yes sometimes the initial box looks 'less than', but give it a day or so and they spring into life, gorgeous.

Mollygo Tue 06-Sept-22 23:17:08

I like Bloom and Wild and once, when they didn’t last, they sent me a replacement bouquet. It’s a shock to receive a bunch of rather dead looking blooms though.

NotSpaghetti Tue 06-Sept-22 23:11:17

We have moved over to British flowers - M&S ones are often available but we now use cornishblooms.co.uk/products/

Auntieflo Tue 06-Sept-22 23:08:11

Another shout out for Bloom and Wild.

Daisymae Tue 06-Sept-22 23:01:56

I quite like Bloom and Wild too.. never had any from Amazon but I guess that I would be surprised if they didn't do some.

crazyH Tue 06-Sept-22 22:11:00

I recently had a bouquet of alstroemerias, delivered from M&S…….they lasted over 3 weeks. Absolutely lovely - highly recommend

Razzamatazz Tue 06-Sept-22 22:02:57

Sorry yours were dead grandMattie. I've sent the letterbox flowers about six times now, always been in bud and opened up beautifully when put into a vase.

Ladyleftfieldlover Tue 06-Sept-22 21:55:49

Younger son always uses M&S to send me flowers. They always arrive in good condition.

grandMattie Tue 06-Sept-22 21:48:23

Why not find a local florist. They are usually better than posted flowers…. I have received letter box flowers several days later and they were mostly dead. Very disappointing.

Razzamatazz Tue 06-Sept-22 21:44:37

I always use Bloom & Wild and send the letterbox flowers, you can add a tiny gift if you want too. Very reasonably priced.
