My OH ordered a tablet, guaranteed delivery, next day. Nothing arrived. After a week and many texts, he told them to refund his money. After a number of weeks his money was refunded although he had to bring his credit card company into the conversation. We had forgotten about it all when a very battered box arrived about 2 months later with tablet inside unharmed. He hum'd and haa'd what to do but I told him he would always feel guilty when he used it and he needed to tell the company it has turned up. Well, this is even more time intensive than getting the money back. First they told us to get in touch with the Courier and return it to them. We refused and said no, you must arrange that, the Courier must turn up on our doorstep and collect it as has happened previously with returned goods from other companies. Obviously the actual people who are dealing with this aren't British or are very stupid as they keep answering questions not asked or repeating what we have told them we won't do. The tablet is still on the top of the tumble dryer in it's box, awaiting further instruction. We last heard from them 8 days ago. My husband hasn't yet said "Why did you tell me to contact the company?" but he must be wanting to. You try to be honest and the world is against you.
