No snow here yet in South Devon but I know parts of North Devon has it and read Manchester Airport closed due to the white stuff. I love it, so do our dogs, and hope we get some soon.
Woke up to approx 3 inches of snow this morning, grandkids slept over , so had great fun out in the garden this morning. We're in Frampton Cotterell, South Gloucestershire
Very festive in Lancashire - just had Santa and his entourage delivering selection packs to the local kids following a pre-planned route. It was perishingly cold waiting for the road train to make its way round but we were able to wait indoors as our local lamp post was a designated stopping point!! One of local pubs does this every year and the sweets are donated by the locals. They dress up the vehicles, add music and lights and everyone dresses up. Have to say the Grinch was very in character and funny to watch. They rattle the buckets for the local hospice and always do well with the donations. So along with the snow laying everywhere and the assistance to get one of the vehicles up the hill - it was a little tuk-tuk!! It was all very good humoured and fun for the kids (and GP's)
We had all the family over yesterday and the weather obliged with just enough snow for the grandsons to scrape together some very small snowballs - perfect timing! Today we’ve just had a heavy frost, which made our walk in the local park feel very seasonal.
South east Cornwall. We were out earlier and came home about 6.30pm. Zero degrees but no snow. It was icy this morning and we expect it to be icy in the morning.
We are in Gloucestershire and have masses of snow. Abandoned cars, motorway and road accidents, blocked roads and pavements like glass bottles! Really dangerous here.
