No snow here yet in South Devon but I know parts of North Devon has it and read Manchester Airport closed due to the white stuff. I love it, so do our dogs, and hope we get some soon.

Snow in East London!!!

Catterygirl Mon 12-Dec-22 00:12:31

We are in central London. Thick snow at the moment.

Hetty58 Mon 12-Dec-22 00:54:43

Yep, NE London/Essex borders - about five inches of snow. Wondering if local schools will be closed tomorrow?

MarilynneT33 Mon 12-Dec-22 01:29:28

No snow here in Blackpool but temperature is -3 degrees.

Charleygirl5 Mon 12-Dec-22 07:35:30

I was shocked to see heavy snow in N W London last night and it is still there overnight. 0C, marginally better than -4C which has been the daytime T.

None - yet - in our bit of Somerset. Heavy cloud all day yesterday saved snow for others. Very icy out there though and it feels oh so cold.

harrigran Mon 12-Dec-22 07:48:51

Like the Arctic here in the NE, not been above freezing for a week and we have several inches of snow. Quite treacherous because I am on a hill and it is causing problems for car owners.

shysal Mon 12-Dec-22 07:49:42

I have woken up to a scattering of snow here in Oxford.

Kalu Mon 12-Dec-22 08:12:51

-7 deg. with a very hard frost here in Glasgow which makes it treacherous underfoot, forecast is for sleet but still no sign of snow. I have been bringing bird feeders indoors overnight hoping the birds can have a feed in the morning before the feeders freeze up again. Likewise their water bowl.

Nannagarra Mon 12-Dec-22 08:44:50

It’s rare to have the white stuff in this corner of the Sefton coast; no change here to report!

YorkLady Mon 12-Dec-22 08:47:18

-3 here. No snow but very harsh frost. Staying indoors today!

Greenfinch Mon 12-Dec-22 08:53:56

We had snow in the middle of the night in Berkshire but nothing since. Grandson thought the schools should be closed !

Aveline Mon 12-Dec-22 09:02:28

-6 degrees here in Edinburgh today. Am staying in as long as possible but I do need to go out for food shopping. Will wait till it warms up a bit. Fingers crossed. Just hope the car starts!

joannapiano Mon 12-Dec-22 09:05:47

Very snowy here in Herts. Some schools closed for DGC. Tesco have cancelled my order, due now, so will put wellies on and trudge down our hill to Sainsburys later on.

MawtheMerrier Mon 12-Dec-22 09:09:25

Yes, overnight snow here in N Bucks.
Blankety-blank nuisance as I was due to have a dental check up but have had to cancel as the road out of the village is treacherous and my drive is looking decidedly tricky too.
Lovely on Christmas cards- but complicates life doesn’t it?
I bet you’ve got more than us in Switzerland though Fleurpepper !

No snow in Norfolk but absolutely beautiful yesterday morning. Frosted grass, plants and spider's webs.
Car doesn't even need de icing today.

Wheniwasyourage Mon 12-Dec-22 09:44:45

-9º this morning, but there is still plenty of crunchy snow at the edges of the pavement so that you can avoid the ice where the snow has been cleared, melted and then frozen. It looks very pretty, but that's enough now, thank you. ☃️

Patsy70 Mon 12-Dec-22 09:59:22

Looking very festive, but I hope it clears soon! 🤞

Patsy70 Mon 12-Dec-22 09:59:58

Why do my photos always do that? 🙄

Squiffy Mon 12-Dec-22 10:01:49

When I was putting the wild bird food out yesterday I could hear the trees and plants crackling!

pascal30 Mon 12-Dec-22 10:09:03

Snow here in Brighton, about 2 inches and looking gorgeous. It's so quiet...

SecondhandRose Mon 12-Dec-22 11:16:54

Essex. We’ve got loads!

Snow fell in Suffolk overnight but not as much as in other parts of the country. However, it has been extremely frosty for days without it lifting at all and has correspondingly been in the minuses. We would consider 0 a bonus at the moment.

GrammarGrandma Mon 12-Dec-22 11:21:41

Snow yesterdaymorning in West Oxfordshire. In Oxford today.
