No snow here yet in South Devon but I know parts of North Devon has it and read Manchester Airport closed due to the white stuff. I love it, so do our dogs, and hope we get some soon.
Like the Arctic here in the NE, not been above freezing for a week and we have several inches of snow. Quite treacherous because I am on a hill and it is causing problems for car owners.
-7 deg. with a very hard frost here in Glasgow which makes it treacherous underfoot, forecast is for sleet but still no sign of snow. I have been bringing bird feeders indoors overnight hoping the birds can have a feed in the morning before the feeders freeze up again. Likewise their water bowl.
-6 degrees here in Edinburgh today. Am staying in as long as possible but I do need to go out for food shopping. Will wait till it warms up a bit. Fingers crossed. Just hope the car starts!
Very snowy here in Herts. Some schools closed for DGC. Tesco have cancelled my order, due now, so will put wellies on and trudge down our hill to Sainsburys later on.
Yes, overnight snow here in N Bucks. Blankety-blank nuisance as I was due to have a dental check up but have had to cancel as the road out of the village is treacherous and my drive is looking decidedly tricky too. Lovely on Christmas cards- but complicates life doesn’t it? I bet you’ve got more than us in Switzerland though Fleurpepper !
-9º this morning, but there is still plenty of crunchy snow at the edges of the pavement so that you can avoid the ice where the snow has been cleared, melted and then frozen. It looks very pretty, but that's enough now, thank you. ☃️
Snow fell in Suffolk overnight but not as much as in other parts of the country. However, it has been extremely frosty for days without it lifting at all and has correspondingly been in the minuses. We would consider 0 a bonus at the moment.
