Today I have stood for 30 minutes to send clothes back I have ordered on line , either they were too big, too small poor quality etc, why is it there are so few shops that cater for us “older” women ? Honestly the companies are missing out as my friends say the same, shops have very little actually in store it’s all online and if they have got it not in many sizes ! I feel I am a modern 70year old but there is so little out there for me and it’s worse in summer !! RANT OVER !

My misunderstanding NotSpaghetti
I agree with you. I’ve had a lot of great stuff from them in the past but nothing takes my fancy anymore. I returned the one item I bought as the quality was poor.
I think 🤔 they are tied up with Monsoon now?

Sorry, my fault- the brief comment was ambiguous Notagran

I am finding this again and again, you find a clothes company you like, you shop there for a couple of years, then they start going downhill, quality falls, they start diversifying their product, usually into bed linen, bedroom slippers and oven gloves. Are we all constantly buying bed linen and bedroom slippers? I haven't bought new bedlinen for years, and even slippers are not bought that often.

It is not a particularly British pehenomena, I live between Britain and France and I am finding the same thing there, chain stores I used to shop in regularly, I no longer even visit because the quality of the clothing they now sell is so poor.

It has happened to Cotton Traders ( along time ago), more recently Woolovers and several others of you say the same of other companies that I do not shop at.
