Two eggs fried in olive oil and avocado πŸ₯šπŸ₯šπŸ₯‘

I hope the avo isn't past its best - they're so unpredictable!

Main meal at lunchtime here. DH works part time and does only evenings. Today it's savoury mince, new potatoes and broccoli.

Certainly!! Wish I was there!

We are having smoked salmon and egg mayonnaise either in a sandwich or on a plate with sundried tomatoes and coleslaw. The coleslaw has been open a while so will have to think carefully and sniff!

All your lunches sound delicious.

Weds always seems to end up being leftovers day.

I have some chicken to eat up so put it with a microwave pizza that never has enough chicken on it.
I dont eat that much pizza, but saw two people eating it separately on tv programmes last night, so took that as my cue!

With raw veg that looked slightly sorry for itself.
I rarely eat cooked veg. Always eaten raw.
Mum used to say, you will change and like cooked veg. Never have!

We had gyoza and miso soup out at the local shopping centre. I had been working on the computer all morning so it was by way of a break.

Mixed salad of cucumber, red onion, beetroot, red pepper, tomato, broad beans and mint from the garden plus spiced chick peas and peanuts for extra protein with a homemade lemon tahini dressing. Delicious and for something sweet I had a satsuma.

Cs783 Wed 07-Jun-23 14:24:39

foxie48 if you mean your mixed salad was all from the garden, gold star gardening! I had some herb leaves from the garden and pea shoots from the windowsill plus a bought hummus and falafel. Then the first home grown strawberries too, with yoghurt and a treat from Lidl of Italian chestnut honey πŸ˜‹

Whitewavemark2 Wed 07-Jun-23 14:48:15

Nope sadly not, just the broad beans and mint but I do have new potatoes, spinach and radishes to eat now and a lot more fruit and veg to come over the next few weeks.
