To help sooth the pain strain natural yogurt to make it thicker and use like a cream . My DH once got out of bed and drove 15 miles in the dark to get me some yoghurt. Turned out it was a warning that I had type 2 diabetes .

Several posters have mentioned plain yoghurt It has to be live yoghurt
Some plain yoghurts could still have sugars in them. The last thing you need with thrush is sugar: candida thrives on sugar.

Are you still having a discharge? If not but you are sore it may be a reaction to the pessaries. I wouldn't use any more unless you've actually had a test which proves you do have thrush. You can be given oral treatment instead eg Diflucan which won't cause irritation

Oh I didn't know you could have oral definitely would have opted for that..Doc gave repeat because yes still have slight discharge which at our age is annoying those days should be gone for me..

Hi all a bit of an update..tapestry did not work..so yesterday was give a 9ne dose oral tablet.. today still have the discharge problem..let's give it a few days. Have had all checks done nothing there So have noo idea why I am getting this issue

Nurse said it happens sometimes

Was also told that it coykd be a side affect of Sitagliptin! Which the Doctor did not mention. Probably because he knew nothing about it
