Hi all

I am trying to use positivity to get me through some tough times

Thought it would be a good idea to post one good thing that happened to me

Does not have to be every day

But if something good happens to you ..please post here for those of us that need hope and uplifting

Please make them not too long if possible just so that we are able to quickly jump on here and read something good positive and hopeful

Thank you

Just finished my first attempt at jigsaw puzzling. My distraction therapy from overwhelming grief, it did help so I'll start another one.

Started the year being able to actually bend my right k re properly for first time in 13 months !! Torn cartilage . No treatment was given …no painkillers prescribed …just ‘’get on with it , it will take six months st your age”….its taken nearer 14 months ….oh and still waiting for the MSK to get in touch with me !

Cath9

This measles outbreak is saddening especially as I had the condition aged four before there was any protection against childhood illnesses.

The OP asked for uplifting posts.

I washed some sheets last night thinking I would tumble them today, but it’s a fabulous sunny drying day and they are blowing on the line along with some towels. And our snowdrops are poking through, my favourite flower.

Today is the sun streaming through the window and lighting up a vase of daffodils.
For tomorrow, dry weather forecast for a wassail event at a local NT we are going to, and my son and girlfriend coming back for tea afterwards.
Trying to focus on positives, to ward off the terror of the start of nasty dental treatment to start next week! 😱😨 Eek!

It’s a nice sunny day and I’ve got snowdrops and a years- old pink hyacinth out. It’s in a container right up against the house, so very sheltered.

I've just seen a snowdrop!

My car passed its MOT yesterday. Nothing to follow up with - no advisories.. it’s 22 years old with 125k + on the clock. Hooray! 🥳 🎉🎈

People gave me donations of fabric and beads for my charity work.

I woke up this morning remembering a significant dream that I had just experienced. What this dream meant to me was that my basic self was friendly and happy despite it lived in the dirty windowless basement of my conscious self.

Yesterday I did a painting for a friend and when I went to check on it today I was really pleased with how it’s turned out. It’s an acrylic pour in a range of pinks and purples with a tiny bit of red, white and gold - and finished off with pink glitter - all my friend’s favourites in fact.

And I’ve just photographed it to show you, slipped - and caught the still wet paint with my finger. It’s ruined. 😭😭

Walked further without pain than I have been able to for a long time, including up and down one short steep hill.
