Blue skies and no rain today

My DH is out playing golf today for the first time since Christmas
We’re both happy…😂

I was chatting with my granddaughter one day and we were discussing something, which is easier to do when you are younger. She replied “you’re not old grandma” then added, “you’re very good for your age”. She made me smile and always does 🥰

My hedge has been cut and my windows cleaned: I've got a view!

Hasn’t happened quite yet but Spring Is Coming! I hear the happy bird calls already.

Every day there IS something positive that happens to people - good nights sleep, unexpected phone call or text, your cake turns out, your pet loves you so much… things like that.

I never lose hope. Or faith.

I got the results of last week’s smear test - everything is fine - best part though is that it was my final one as I am about to hit 65!

After an 18 month wait I have an appointment to see a consultant about my eye.

Feeling better today since being unwell for three weeks.

Bulbs & garlic have all popped through the ground & snow has melted.

Happy to have a warm home and food in the kitchen. How blessed I feel.

My cat who had been missing for last 5 days turned up .( Didn't tell me what he'd been up too )

Either he has been ratting, or there is is a queenie cat in season.

I was walking up the pedestrian lane between the two houses opposite mine and who do you think I met coming the opposite way?

My Tigger cat! He let me pick him up, carry him across the road and well inside our garden, where I dumped him on the ground and he ran off round the house.

I had just opened the door to go inside, when he swooped past me, saying Blimey it's wet outside, ( in cat talk) and has stayed in all afternoon.

I found out this week that my operation on 20th December was considered successful and I am now out of pain.

I know it's almost spring because the sun is coming into my conservatory!

Walked through my local churchyard and saw carpets of snowdrops between the graves. And the sun was shining!

I really enjoyed my lunch today was very tasty and made me happy

I’ve got an appointment at audiology at my local hospital.

DGS3 has said he will be home for a while in April when we weren’t expecting to see him until the summer

Find 3 things to be grateful for every evening before bed, it definitely changes your outlook on life and make you sleep better. Some days you just need to be thankful for your warm house, having food on the table and having hot running water. So many people do not have these essentials. Other days I could find 10 things I am grateful for. Today I am grateful for having my nails and brows done, I am grateful I could afford to buy a new polo neck I fancied I am grateful I had a lovely walk in the sunshine despite my back playing up. It was just too good to miss. Do try it.

I was walking to my DGG school to pick her up this afternoon. I was aware of a lady walking behind me who was pushing a wide pushchair with 2 little ones and 2 more walking either side ( looked like a child minder) I let her pass me as I’m a slow walker, she thanked me and told me how she was admiring my beautiful hair!

Changed bedding today… love clean sheets!!

I took delivery of some fleece lined leggings today. They are furry inside. I love them.
