Hi all

I am trying to use positivity to get me through some tough times

Thought it would be a good idea to post one good thing that happened to me

Does not have to be every day

But if something good happens to you ..please post here for those of us that need hope and uplifting

Please make them not too long if possible just so that we are able to quickly jump on here and read something good positive and hopeful

Thank you

Positives? Mmm, well, Keith Lemon is very rarely on TV these days. Can only be good.

Donald Trump looked really narked the other day when told he had to pay gazillions in damages.

The Dogs Behaving Very Badly show is back on TV, so funny, Tuesday evenings.

And for cat lovers, check Facebook and search for 'Willow the Cat', the adventures of a bold tabby cat who spends his days people-watching in a place called Didcot, often pictured snoozing in Boots, and Dunelm (for just 2) and occasionally pictured trying to avoid being prodded by over enthusiastic children! He lives nearby it seems, but the locals are greatly cheered, and he even has an online fanclub.

Tidying up the garden this morning and discovered two plants started to grow no idea what they are so will have to wait and find out when they are in bloom. Love in the garden so this small find really cheered me up.

My order of 4kg of Seville oranges arrived 2 bags in the freezer and one lot cooked until soft ready to make marmalade tomorrow but my way not usual way . But my way has worked for nearly 10 years no faffing cutting peel. Top and tail discard seeds and blitz the whole fruit with hand blender. Ready to turn into marmalade using granulated sugar.

My home is full of flowers from my recent birthday. I had lunch yesterday with two dear friends. Tomorrow I will have a meal with my family. On Monday I shall have a light lunch and a long natter with a dear Gransnet friend. My winter flowering cherry tree is in full flower. The helibores are amazing. The wind has dropped and the sun is doing its best to shine. smile

Just been in Scotland clearing out late Mi L’s house. Terrible rain and wind so much so that a big tree fell down in the garden. Then…spotted a couple of tiny snowdrops! ( and the house was finally empty !)

The full moon the last two nights has been a wonder to behold, like a huge bright cheese in the sky.

My son sent me some flowers. He said he got a reminder on his phone to send some for my mums birthday (his Nana) but as she recently died he thought he would send them to me instead.

Spent half the day with my DD. My relationship with her has been, on my side, very careful, but the time I now spend with her improves it all the time. Many blessings!

I was walking to my DGG school to pick her up this afternoon. I was aware of a lady walking behind me who was pushing a wide pushchair with 2 little ones and 2 more walking either side ( looked like a child minder) I let her pass me as I’m a slow walker, she thanked me and told me how she was admiring my beautiful hair!

Find 3 things to be grateful for every evening before bed, it definitely changes your outlook on life and make you sleep better. Some days you just need to be thankful for your warm house, having food on the table and having hot running water. So many people do not have these essentials. Other days I could find 10 things I am grateful for. Today I am grateful for having my nails and brows done, I am grateful I could afford to buy a new polo neck I fancied I am grateful I had a lovely walk in the sunshine despite my back playing up. It was just too good to miss. Do try it.
