Drove home unwell

I’ve driven home before feeling terrible, it’s not the greatest thing to do but sometimes life leaves us with no choice

Thank you i really didnt realise the severity of it untill i was driving home.

While I think you should not have driven feeling ill I can understand that judgement can be clouded when you aren't feeling well.
As others have said if this is the first time this has happened and you continue to feel ill you need to consult a doctor.
Your experience is very much the same as I had with my first migraine attack. Luckily I was being driven home by a colleague.

Feeling a little better today perhaps im wondering if anyone else has had a simiar experiance and how they coped with it and what they have done i see many post on here that could be pointed in lots of differant professional routes none of us are doctors relationship counsellors or dietitians but here we are asking questions!!

Tbh this could be anything from a virus to a 24 hour bug to a migraine.

If you’re still not feeling well then consult a GP & I wish you a speedy recover.

With all respect to the OP, when someone whose name is not familiar, starts a thread describing some medical symptoms, all of which are not uncommon either together or apart and then asks us whether we have had similar symptoms and what did we do, what kind of response did you expect?

We are not doctors or pharmacists, we do not know your medical history, these symptoms are generic and could mean nothing at all or be precursors for something very serious.

If i had symptoms like yours out of the blue, I would ring 111. If I had a history of migraine, I would assume it was migraine, so take two paracetamol and codeine and go to bed. I am sure others with different medical histories and similar symptoms would reach different conclusions.

Sounds like a migraine to me. There are times when I should have taken something when I felt a headache coming on and the stress of driving made it worse. I don’t thankfully get migraines any more but the thought of driving on the M25 might bring one on. It took me years to work out what triggered my migraines, by which time old age had all but put an end to them.

Driving home could have put yourself and others in danger, social media is not the place for medical advice.

How are you feeling today? If you still feel sick with the headache it might be an idea to get medical advice.

Otherwise just take it easy today.

When I vomited multiple times during a 16 hour period it transpired I had a ruptured appendix. I ignored it to start with until the Dr surgery opened in the morning.

I certainly would not have driven a car while feeling nauseus. That is plain irresponsible.

Perhaps you should have called NHS 111 for medical advice.

It sounds like it could have been a migraine. It could be worth talking to a medical professional such as a pharmacist or your GP. There are remedies which, if taken at the first sign, can help reduce the severity of symptoms.

What a strange post how can anyone know what is happening to you and whether you need a doctor, an ambulance, a bed, only you can decide that
