My husband rides a motorbike, has done for decades, he is a good rider, drives defensively, careful etc.
Never had a serious accident.
He is touring Europe, mainly Spain, Portugal and Gibraltar in a few weeks time with other British legion biker friends. Here's the problem, he saw his Dr a few weeks ago, sent for a scan which came back clear, but when he tells an insurance co his medical details they refuse insurance, as they say he must still have an undiagnosed condition.
Bearing in mind the horrendous cost of medical bills should the worst happen, I think it is unreasonable for him to go without insurance and am really worried. He says he's going anyway and it's unlikely anything will happen. (Of course it is but what if it does?). We are retired and not 'well off' tho fine on a day to day basis. Am I being unreasonable asking him not to go?I need peace of mind!
