Narrow gusset in knickers

I've always bought M&S knickers but lately am finding the gussets far too narrow. Can anyone recommend decent knickers that have decent coverage but don't look like "granny" knickers. I'm a size 8-10 but I don't want thongs. I want proper coverage to bend down gardening in without constantly pulling them from where they've ridden up.

Thanks Scribbles. I think I shall opt for the large. There’s nothing worse than knickers being too tight & cutting in 😫. Or showing off my lumps & bumps more than I have to 😂

Wedgies, gussets - I've come over all faint!

For me it's the word PANTIES....Oh! makes me think of dirty old men. 😶

I told a saleslady in M & S the other day that the gussets were too narrow in their cotton lycra pants. I was looking for some cotton only ones in the hope that they would be better, but they do not stock many. I know I can order them but do not live that close by
