Have you tried adding the Vanish whitener powder to your wash.
I use this on all my white things. I just add one scoop + my Bold washing powder.
I find that Persil is great , but when it comes to stains -nothing can beat Ariel .
I agree that Ariel is the best.
I also use Vanish, there is a whitening one for whites, and a colour protect one for colours.
My whites are always white, even when old.
I read this somewhere and saved it for reference:
Even if you use those laundry detergents that promise you your white clothes will come out whiter than white, you can’t avoid greyish spots and yellow armpits. With every wash, white clothes seem to become duller and greyer. So, how do you stop this process? The only thing you need to make sure your laundry comes out perfectly white again is five aspirin tablets of 325 milligrams each.
Put the tablets in a large bowl or tub of hot water to let them dissolve. Stir this aspirin water until all of the tablets have completely dissolved. To make sure the tablets dissolve faster, you can also crumble them up before putting them in the water. Next, place the dull, white clothes in the bowl or tub with the aspirin water and leave them to soak there for eight hours. You can also just add a few aspirins to the washing machine, but the soaking method works better. After you’ve let the clothes soak, you still have to wash them in the washing machine like you normally would.
I use a Glo White sachet in with whites.
Has anyone tried adding a small scoop of Napisan to their wash? I used to know someone whose whites were really sparkling and that was her secret! So every now and then, that's what I do.
I always think my whites are sparkling till I buy a new packet of underwear and it reminds me of the old Persia ads we used to see of various shades of white t shirts !
I’ve swapped to Sainsbury’s own brand that comes in a carton, no plastic and much cheaper. It’s usually on the lower shelves under the main brands. There’s a variety of types.

Is Napisan more or less the same as the Oxy whitener?

I buy this too. One carton for coloureds and one for whites
I had to wear a White uniform top (NHS). Started as a lovely white, but after a few months you can see the white going off to a grey.
It's because they were Cotton and Polyester with higher Polly content than cotton, that causes it to become greyer, what ever you used never back to original white.
One of my colleagues, reckoned it was also caused by sunlight, so wouldn't dry hers on an outside clothes line? Hers always appeared to be Whiter than mine, sounds like an advert?
I never buy if I can help it, high content white Polyester in anything.
Cotton for me, sometime I add a touch of bleach to the wash draw as the water runs through it.
Pink Cosmos, I really don't know if Napisan is the same as Oxy whitener, as I haven't bought that, sorry.
Napisan is almost the same as OxiClean, and works in the same way using sodium percarbonate as their main ingredient. They both use oxygen bleach to clean.
Very rarely if ever do I wear white….
Pretty sure I would spill something down it 🙄😁

I don't think Asprin works - I was told this some time ago but checked it out...

I wouldn't be without my packe of Napisan. Keeps the whites right, to quote some old ad or other.
Stop wearing white knickers.
