Another one here not getting nearly enough! Waking in the night and not being able to get back to sleep is so frustrating and really bad for health.
However, last night I tried a getting back to sleep hack - props to Dr Rajan Karan on YouTube - and it worked! Basically, you think of a word, say, bedtime and say all the words you can think of beginning with b until you tire of thinking b words then move on to e, then d & so on. Apparently, it breaks the neural cycles of overthinking which prevent falling asleep again quickly.
Admittedly, I only tried it for the first time last night & it might not work again tonight but anything's worth a go for those blissful extra few hours.
