Of course, silly me Calendargirl - it’s got to be fixed to the dash for that.

OP probably wants it on a mount for sat nav purposes Georgesgran.

Do you actually need a mount?
My phone stays in my bag, but I can still make and receive calls.
I’ll add that I will answer a recognized number, but only very, very rarely make an outgoing call when behind the wheel.

Have you thought of the kind of mount that goes into the air vent? There are several on eBay, an alternative is to go to Halfords and ask for some help!

Could be for if your dashboard is slightly curved or has a textured surface. Mine kept dropping off usually on the motorway it was really a nuisance. Luckily I changed cars and can now plug my phone into the cars screen so don’t need it anymore. Good luck hopefully it will be fine.

My son gave me one a while ago as he bought two on offer. It took us ages to figure how to use them, but we did in the end. Now mine has broken- sorry can't be of more help.

Need some advice please. I have just
Purchased a suction mount to hold my phone on the dasboard of my car.
I have secured it firmly. However in the box is a circular dashboard adapter, not sure what the purpose of that is ? There are minimal instructions on the box. I would appreciate some advice about this.
