I love bright colours 👍I have an old friend who mainly wears beige, no bright scarf or lipstick. No doubt she thinks I am over the top with my colourful clothes. I bought a gorgeous tabard top in crimson recently, made in India, love it.

Yes, I love wearing the bright colours that suit my colouring and that coat would do just fine. I bought a beautiful jacket last week, the fabric is designed by an Italian artist and it has all the colours I know really suit me, the cut is great too, very flattering. It looks wonderful with a plain pair of trousers or a midi skirt and will also go over a plain dress. I think it will be my holiday jacket as it's light and will travel well. tbh I can't wait to wear it.

I love colour so would wear it but fear it would look like a big blanket on me, would look good on a tall slim person, and I am neither.

I suppose it’s because a really nice black winter coat is very stylish & goes with everything. I saw an absolutely gorgeous one in Harrods a few years ago but sadly couldn’t afford the £5000 price tag.
A black coat with colourful accessories looks great.

Why do posters think that coats in lots of colours aren’t available and that they have to wear black? I have a lovely green coat, a pale blue one and almost bought a pink one in M&S the other year.

You have Inspired me to go into my wardrobe and take another look at a multi coloured coat a bought a while ago. I thought it was really rice and a friend agreed but never wore it as husband was really rude about it and told me he wouldn’t be seen dead with me in it.
