Just one Fitflop!

I have a pair of Fitflops size 7 which I love, they are so comfortable, I live in them during the summer months. However, the left one has split in a place I cannot repair (I have tried epoxy and also super glue) so I wondered if anybody knows where I could buy one Fitflop - I've looked at ebay but no joy. I haven't tried the actual company that manufacture them as I cannot guarantee the remaining one will last for years so I could always end up in the same situation for the other foot, anytime soon. There must be lots of people who throw stuff away when all they need is the matching item? If not, maybe I should start a site for one shoe/glove etc.

Just seen the price of them . Just for a sole and few straps extortionate. And no I don't buy cheap shoes have my footwear from Hotter except slippers. But then again I can't wear sandals as I fall daily .

I love my Fitflop trainers . I got them in their sale for £59 they are super comfy. I also have a pair of their knitted ballerinas which I’ve had for years and wear as slippers, plus a pair of sliders which I wear around lot. They all have arch supports which are fantastic. Look in their outlet store OP. They often have sales.

Loobs I completely get your dilemma.
There are some things in life that are worth investing in and FitFlops are one of those things. I have two suggestions: 1) search for some glue specifically for shoes 2)look on eBay for single shoes - you would be amazed at what people successfully sell

You make it sound like weird is a bad thing. I think rude is a bad thing. And it's FitFlops, not flipflops. I'd never heard of them, but Google is my friend.

I went through 3 pairs of Fitflops in a matter of weeks, when my dog was a puppy she would find them and the trouble was she always seemed to chew the same foot, so I was never able to match a pair up, but had to buy yet another pair as they were so comfortable..No idea what it was about them she liked, it must have been the leather….

Are you a bit of a hoarder ? Spending so much time speculating how you can replace one damaged FitFlop is just wasted energy to my mind and I cannot understand it. Yes they cost more than you might wish to spend but they aren’t excessively expensive. Go on , treat yourself !

£129 for a pair seems fairly expensive to me but perhaps you inhabit a different world to my norm.

Loovs, my one pair of Fitflops are still fine years later but I've noticed that the sole perished on some good Clark's leather boots (£20 for a repair which didn't last) and a pair of Loretta shoes were useless after the side parted from the top and couldn't be repaired.

Fitflops are worth every single penny. I have some which i use as slippers and managed a 2nd pair (new) the same for £40.
These will last until i can find similar, but HAVE to be FitFlops. Best shoes/sandals/slippers ever and so good for your feet
No such thing as aching/sore feet with them.

As a result of reading this thread I have ordered a pair of FitFlop sliders.
As a new customer I was given a 15%discount and free postage.
I'm looking forward to receiving them in the next couple of days.

Amazon have end of lines and colours of FitFlop footwear. I love their trainers and have stocked up on my favourite canvas ones.

Thanks for all your suggestions - I have used super-glue and a fabric plaster and fashioned a repair which is currently holding and doesn't show. Not good enough to wear for any distance (if it went I would have to hop home) but great for round the house and garden. I liked the idea of a website but it wouldn't work as too many fakes around. However, if any of you ever find yourselves with a left foot, brown Fitflop size 7, you know who to call!!!

My FitFlop Sliders have just arrived. Excellent customer service. Only ordered yesterday.
I am absolutely delighted with my sliders. I usually find it difficult to get shoes/sandals which are comfortable.
These are a dream. smile

You should set up a business grin

They look lovely Aldom.

My friend used to wear her shoes excessively on the inside, mine always wear down fast on the outside. We did say we should swap every couple of months, save the expensive re-heeling (or these days with plastic soles, binning). But we never did. Maybe in these waste-concious days we would?
