I'm glad to know that Anniebach is still posting. Evidently I haven't been looking at the right threads.

I don't read the politics threads - too depressing and I can't affect anything.

It seems that EllenVanin was banned 5 years ago. It's taken quite some time for her to be missed 🤔

Presumably no-one was in touch with her off the forum else they'd be able to give you an update...

Yes Ellen was banned a while ago then reinstated then banned again. I believe FGT rang her a few times.

A, then, regular poster Glammanana used to contact her I think but she also stopped posting some time ago.
I can’t recall why Ellen was banned as she mostly posted about family and her old lodger cat.

Yes MaizieD I knew it was much longer than 3 yearsxago because that’s when my husband was diagnosed with cancer and it was ages before then when we last spoke.

She was very much missed by most of us back in the day. I remember she was referred to quite often after she had been banned. Lives near (in?) Liverpool a kindly straight talking lass. I do miss her direct and common sense posts.

Oh my I didn’t know posters could be banned, sounds serious, I had a post deleted yesterday which was supposed to be lighthearted but obvs upset somebody. I did apologise to whoever it was. But will have to be careful, thing is I thought I was, am not the kind of person who makes nasty remarks, perhaps I shouldn’t try humour am obvs not very good at it 🤔

It took me a while to realise that her username was Manx Gaelic for Island of Man.
