I was suspended for a week because a member took offence that I had temerity to call out a BOT. If that member thought for one moment that I would be upset, they don’t know me 😂

I haven't seen multicolouredswapshop on the GM thread for some time. I hope she's OK.

Banning often if not always feels heavy handed. I miss GermsnShepherdsmum. Politically poles apart but we got on very well. As with some other plain speakers, she was reported. I still feel ‘some posters’ focus and press the report button, knowing their subject has been previously suspended so might be banned

I think GSM was banned? There was also a poster from (I think) the north east of England called (also I think!) Gillybob who has just disappeared ie not banned. She looked after her grandchildren a lot. I always liked her posts and admired her stamina.

I lived just up the road from Whitehouse Farm for some years.
I know that area very well. There was no way jeramy could have got to the farm and then back to his home in the time the police state.

Why? Banning on here is very inconsistent, isn't it? I know some bans annoy some people and not others, but there are those which defy logic, really.

It doesn't always make sense, who gets banned. It must be the Moderators overview.
Yes I know Oreo, deleting does not always lead to a ban. That is not what I said.

It will depend on what has been said and why deleted I expect.

I always enjoyed GSM's posts too - even if I didn't always agree with her. She was often a very helpful source of advice to other posters too, especially when it came to legal matters. I don't understand why posters can't agree to disagree without reporting every little thing - unless of course it is something like a personal attack or something really offensive. We're all supposed to be adults.

Well what a coincidence- I was watching a Youtube vlog about the Isle of Man and EllenVannin came to mind. I’m
the same as FGT re crumpets as whenever I have them I’m reminded of the ‘crumpet queen’ too.

I had to have a name change because of an admin technicality and Lily from GNHQ helped me to sort it out
I had to use a new name.

It was complicated and I found it stressful.

Goodness knows how others (banned) manage to re-emerge with new monikers! I think they use a different computer so the IP details or whatever isn’t recognised?

Another one whose posts I miss is Gabriella. She was so entertaining and sounded a kind hearted person too with the snacks and drinks she handed out to delivery drivers!
She lived near Guildford I think.

Some of her comments were probably deemed controversial by some, but that’s good surely?

Like you say, she seemed really kind hearted.
