I wasn't in personal touch with her, but her posts were like chatting to a friendly neighbour!

I have no idea why EllanVannin was banned and never reinstated.
It took me a while to realise that her username was Manx Gaelic for Island of Man.

Oh my I didn’t know posters could be banned, sounds serious, I had a post deleted yesterday which was supposed to be lighthearted but obvs upset somebody. I did apologise to whoever it was. But will have to be careful, thing is I thought I was, am not the kind of person who makes nasty remarks, perhaps I shouldn’t try humour am obvs not very good at it 🤔

Yes MaizieD I knew it was much longer than 3 yearsxago because that’s when my husband was diagnosed with cancer and it was ages before then when we last spoke.

She was very much missed by most of us back in the day. I remember she was referred to quite often after she had been banned. Lives near (in?) Liverpool a kindly straight talking lass. I do miss her direct and common sense posts.
