Joanna Lumley is good, yes, but the character in Amandaland is horribly unkind to her daughter.

My DIL used to have business dealings with JL, she said she is “absolutely fabulous “ always positive, kind and polite.
She always referred to my DIL as darling in emails, I imagine everyone is darling to JL!

I'm also a big fan of Joanna Lumley. I enjoy her travel programmes.

Fabulous Joanna. From what I've heard about her she is nothing like the part she plays in Amandaland. She is an excellent actress so plays the arrogant selfish grandmother well.

Joanna Lumley is fab. For me I can see many similarities with Pamela ( The great Alison Steadman in Gavin and Stacey)!!!

Yes that radio programme is fabulous. And I'm another JL fan. Such a positive, caring women. Looks fantastic and very caring with her charitable concerns

Small but important fact: Joanna grows her own lemons for her G and Ts.

She is adorable. The kind of lady you'd want as an aunt. She would show you the ropes in any situation and be loved by all your friends and they would envy you completely!!! 😊❤️
