Baby gift

A young friend is expecting a baby soon. She works in sustainability and is very into recycling.. she already has lots of second hand items.
Any suggestions for a present?

Gift card is a good bet. Many new p can parents and be overwhelmed with stuff when the baby has just arrived.

And will need stuff later. Nobody thought about.

John Lewis sounds a good choice.
Or maybe Boots. Do they still do Baby items.

A premium bond.

If you sew, perhaps a baby bits carrier, or perhaps a sort of tissue holder type with muslin squares in.
