One of our very favourite features is our annual round up of the best children's books of the year

This year we've featured you over 30 fantastic books for children of all ages, from babies and preschoolers - to young adults and teens. Great ideas for Christmas shopping. AND three lucky gransnetters get to win the lot...each set is worth over £350 and is sure to keep the family (and the wider family and the neighbours' kids...) happy for a very long time.

Full details on the page

To enter the draw - which will be made at midday on Tuesday 16 December - all you have to do is answer one simple question.

What's your favourite children's book of all time?

Maybe it's one that you loved as a child. One that you read to your own children. Or one that you read with your grandchildren. Old, new, classic or little-known...we look forward to compiling a list of gransnetters all-time favourites.

I love reading "The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark". It was the first book my two daughters could read out loud themselves and now it's the turn of my granddaughters!

I loved Enid Blyton books growing up, my favourite was 'The Magic Faraway Tree' I also used to read them to my 2 daughters, who always wanted another chapter smile My eldest daughter now a mum herself, cannot wait to read to her son, these stories are so good for their imagination.

the boys is the hungrey caterpillar

my grandson loved the book so much his Dad thought he was to old for it and got rid of it at a car boot sale. He was so upset and was even upset at school and told the teachers what his dad had done. So his mom went and brought a new one the same for him , which helped ,now he keeps the book where he can see it on his book shelf . God bless him he was only 5 at the time he is now 9

My favourite book from my childhood is The Little Match Girl by Hans Christian Anderson. The story made such an impression on me I never ever forgot it. It is a touching story that has survived since 1845 I believe!

I loved the Malory Towers / St Claire's book as a girl.

Love Bear Hunt with our grandchildren. We're often encountering obstacles we "Can't go over, can't go under so have to go through," when we're walking in the woods, through town and to pre-school!
