One of our very favourite features is our annual round up of the best children's books of the year

This year we've featured you over 30 fantastic books for children of all ages, from babies and preschoolers - to young adults and teens. Great ideas for Christmas shopping. AND three lucky gransnetters get to win the lot...each set is worth over £350 and is sure to keep the family (and the wider family and the neighbours' kids...) happy for a very long time.

Full details on the page

To enter the draw - which will be made at midday on Tuesday 16 December - all you have to do is answer one simple question.

What's your favourite children's book of all time?

Maybe it's one that you loved as a child. One that you read to your own children. Or one that you read with your grandchildren. Old, new, classic or little-known...we look forward to compiling a list of gransnetters all-time favourites.

The book I loved as a child was The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, it really fired my imagination and I couldn't wait for the next chapter. It was the first book that I got engrossed in and lead to a lifetime love of books and reading.

To this day I still love a physical book to hold, I always use a bookmark and I make sure that no matter how well-read a book of mine is, it still looks pristine, no creases or evidence that it has been read.

I have a real respect of the written word and it all started with The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe!

My most memorable childhood book has to be the Magic Faraway tree - hoping the upcoming movie does not shatter my imagination/dreams of this beautiful book! x

So much choice but I think one that has stayed with me is The Magic Faraway Tree by Enid Blyton. I used to look for the tallest tree whenever we went to a forest/woods and hope it might be "the one"!

shadow the Sheep dog by Enid Blyton, this was one of the first books as a child that I read and I found it so exciting and I couldn't wait to read each page, I'm sure this was the start of my love of books. I tried other Enid Blyton books after this but nothing matched up
