March book club - The Butcher's Hook

Has anyone had a copy yet? Seems as if it is going to be a rush to read and comment on before the end of the month - it's 12th tomorrow.

I tried to get one but the application form never appeared.

I have heard Janet Ellis discuss this book on various radio programs and it does sound very good.

Yes, same here, gillybob. I just assumed all free copies had gone in the first couple of hours, but it did seem odd. I've never not been able to apply before.

They must not have sent out - there would lots of thank-yous on here if they had. GNHQ need to give the publishers a nudge!

Did you actually see an application form, Gagagran? It'd be interesting to know if there was one, or if the gremlins have been at work and nobody's actually applied!

Well I thought I had done but am wondering now if I'm having a senior moment and didn't really? Whatever, there seems to have been a break down in sorting this one out and GNHQ are being very quiet about it. What is going on Cari?

My copy just arrived - will also try to read before the end of the month, but with Easter (and my 60th birthday!) next week (and a houseful of guests coming to celebrate with me) I, too, may run out of time.
