How many others would be interested in reading Harry & Meghan's biography as I would ?

Anniebach Sun 03-May-20 21:39:29

I feel sorry for Charles, William and the Queen , how can Harry do this to them

Dollymc1 Sun 03-May-20 22:03:44

This is too funny, feeling sorry for the Royal Family...children are hungry, people are losing their jobs, their houses , people are dying
I would suggest that you save your sympathy for those most deserving of it
They are adequately catered for

Finding Nemo?

Excited now, I may just download it if it's free.

I like clownfish. I knitted one once.

merlotgran Sun 03-May-20 22:07:58

It'll be a very short book:

Get married (Huge Wedding) have baby, spend a fortune - mostly other people's money, on two renovations, although we didn't really want either of them. clothes, private jets, security etc.,

Get pissed off disillusioned because Kate's Queen Bee at Wimbledon and nobody cares about us trying to save the world. Blame the tabloids.

Go to South Africa with sycophantic buddy who really 'gets us' and encourages us to open up about our suffering but nobody gives a shit!

Take six weeks off to re-discover ourselves. Even more pissed off disillusioned because nobody gives a shit! Blame/sue the tabloids!

Announce big bombshell. We're flouncing off to Canada because it's part of the commonwealth so they're sure to love us there and some rich sucker has loaned us a multi-million pound mansion. Sayonara Frogmore Cottage.

Nobody gives a shit although HM did raise an eyebrow about Megxit as she put her cheque book back in the drawer. Just goes to show how badly we've been treated by the toxic RF.

Move to LA because it was always in my plan of Coronavirus which will give us a chance to be spotted doing Good Works.

Blame the media for everything.

THE END

Unless Disney want to make a film about us in which case we'll work on Finding Freedom II

Callistemon Sun 03-May-20 22:11:30

Don't forget How We Met

Callistemon Sun 03-May-20 22:13:36

Finding Freedom II

I resolved not to laugh, but I can't help it merlotgran

Anniebach Sun 03-May-20 22:18:48

Strange how someone has to save sympathy , I find I have
plenty to extend to anyone I think needs it, ration sympathy? Wouldn’t know how. And never want to .

Anniebach Sun 03-May-20 22:24:16

We met, a friend arranged it, I dumped the chef I was shacked
up with and grabbed Harry, this is why I still have to hang onto him .

merlotgran Sun 03-May-20 22:45:37

It's actually called, 'Finding Freedom and the Making of a Modern Royal Family.'

Eh?

Has anyone told the Queen?

Oopsminty Sun 03-May-20 22:49:43

It's actually called, 'Finding Freedom and the Making of a Modern Royal Family.'

How very peculiar!

They're not really Royal any more. They jacked it in for a 'quiet life'

I won't be reading the book.

Didn't read Diana's either

Not a massive fan of that genre

Namsnanny Sun 03-May-20 22:55:18

Good Grief! is that right Merlotgran?

I'm lost now.

Harry has been asking people to call him by his Christian name, hasn't he? So I thought they had lost their title!

merlotgran Sun 03-May-20 22:57:34

I think he's lost his marbles, Namsnanny.

LullyDully Mon 04-May-20 08:26:12

Well that takes care of my Christmas list this year. Perhaps we could have it as book of the month on GN.?

gillybob Mon 04-May-20 08:39:24

One book I most definitely won’t be buying/downloading/reading. The title “Finding Freedom” made me laugh out loud grin

They could have as much freedom as they wanted if they would just b*gg*r off !

Galaxy Mon 04-May-20 08:40:51

For people not interested in them, you spend an inordinate amount of time talking about them.

gillybob Mon 04-May-20 08:45:21

I am not in the slightest bit interested in them Galaxy but we all have the right to respond to a thread asking a question as to whether we will be reading a particular book or not.

If the title had of been “Posh and Becks” me answer would’ve been a pretty much the same.

Oopsadaisy3 Mon 04-May-20 08:50:34

dollymc1 I think we have enough sympathy in us to feel sorry for any family who are sad and upset at their children’s behaviour.
Especially when it’s in the Presz and reaches into the homes of millions of people. Most families upsets are private.
It doesn’t cost us anything to have compassion, which shouldn’t depend on race, gender or wealth.

Oopsadaisy3 Mon 04-May-20 08:50:54

Press not that weird spelling

Grannynannywanny Mon 04-May-20 08:52:39

H and M’s book no thanks. If Melania Trump ever gets bored of her lifestyle and moves on then that might be an interesting read.

Sparklefizz Mon 04-May-20 08:59:39

Grannynw I think Melania will leave Trump as soon as he's out of office. He has probably made it legally binding that she will stay until then grin

gillybob Mon 04-May-20 09:03:46

Oh yes Grannynannywanny now that would be a book I would enjoy . I doubt we’ll ever see one though . Maybe he’s a teddy bear at home .

ninathenana Mon 04-May-20 09:07:19

??

Oopsadaisy3 Mon 04-May-20 09:10:20

I suspect that if Melania wants to keep her good name and her money she will keep quiet about her Trump years. I’m sure she will have signed a pretty watertight legal document.
IMO she’s earnt her money.

Annecan Mon 04-May-20 09:26:16

Please
I want to be sick.....
Extract from the book

merlotgran Mon 04-May-20 09:33:53

Is that really how they see themselves? gringrin
